TOEFL- Be Anything, Study Anywhere

Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) is considered as one of the most ideal test for testing your proficiency in English language and required by most U.S. colleges. The TOEFL is a check of basic skills – Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing (the four sections of the test) – the same things students do during their school years. TOEFL is that it’s not just a test you have to get through.  It’s actually a measure of whether you will be able to survive in a college where English is the priority language.  Each of the four sections corresponds to something you’ll actually have to do; like reading through a textbook for an assignment, listening to a teacher to take notes for a project, etc.

The test is composed of 100% academic questions and tasks and helps prove you have the English skills you will actually use in an academic classroom. In the test, you may read a passage from a textbook and listen to a lecture and then speak or write in response, just like you would in a classroom.

A TOEFL score is accepted at over 9,000 colleges and universities in over 130 countries, including nearly every top university in the U.S., Canada and Australia. Since 2011, students from around the world can also use their TOEFL scores as part of their student visa applications. You will not be able to get a visa if your TOEFL score is less.

The TOEFL is strictly formatted in each and every section. The test is four hours in length and can be taken a maximum of once a week. TOEFL scores stay valid for only two years.

Preparing for the TOEFL exam requires intensive studying. This studying should encompass all four of the main English criteria. The test is scored from 0 to 120, with each of the four sections counted as 30 points apiece. Most universities will require students to have a standard minimum acceptable score is somewhere in the low 60s. Top universities may require a score of 100 to be found acceptable.

A coach can help a student get personalized help, and focus on areas where they are struggling most. Many students attest that having a TOEFL coach who was fluent in the language helped their scores to drastically improve. These coaches give great advice, teach students excellent feedback, and help to make sure that they can grasp some of the more complex issues with the language.

TOEFL test scores help you stand out because of the TOEFL test’s reputation for quality, fairness and 100% academic content.  This test is considered as the best one in assessing your skills in English language. It provides the scores more accurately compared to other tests which makes it easier for universities for decision making process in admissions and to decide whether you have the required skills to be successful.

As TOFEL provides the accurate scores, it is easy for the test takers to get noticed. The candidates with good scores in TOEFL can prove that they have mastered the required skills in English language for pursuing higher studies abroad.
